Demonstration of Color Match
Between Display and Print

Raja Balasubramanian, Karen Braun, Rob Buckley, Rob Rolleston
Xerox Corporation

Welcome to this interactive demonstration. The objective is to have the colors on your display match the printed version of images found in The Industrial Physicist, June/July 2001 feature article, "Color Documents in the Internet Era." You can also check the color chart in "The Cradle of Xerography" (April/May 2001), p. 41.

This demonstration will illustrate the importance of doing careful color correction to achieve matches between two very different color devices, namely a printing press and your display.

First download the online PDF version of the article from The Industrial Physicist website. Look at the color images in Figures 1 and 6 and the color chart.. These have not been corrected for the press or for your display. You will be asked to compare them with the corrected images produced by this demonstration.

Continue with demonstration.
